Bismarck is a beautiful city in the United Stated of America. Capital of North Dakota and county seat of Burleigh County, Bismarck is located on the east bank of the Missouri River. The population of a little over 60.000 people lives on an area of 71 squared kilometers. The city of Bismarck was settled in 1872 with the name Edwintown which changed to Bismarck in honor of German chancellor Otto von Bismarck in hope of attracting German investors. Sertoma Park is a very large park, offering an area of over three miles where tourists can exercise, do jogging, biking and other recreational activities.
Dakota Zoo is located in the Sertoma Park of Bismarck and occupies an area of 27 hectares, home of over 125 different species. Ungulates, predators, birds and monkeys reside here and the zoo also has some exhibits of reptiles and small mammals. Inside the Dakota Zoo you can admire a butterfly house and a prairie dog town.
Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park is an area within Bismarck, hosting a On-A-Slant Indian Village. In the park tourists can take tours at every half and hour. Tours inside the park are great, the guide taking the visitors back in time thanks to its extraordinary stories.

Super Slide Amusement Park is located along Missouri, near the Dakota Zoo and is the home of Dakota's largest roller coaster. This park located in Bismarck is opened just between May 1st and September 15th.
