Cleburne State Park is a Texas State Park that includes a 116-acre spring, fed by Cedar Lake, that was created by construction of an earthen dam. Restrooms with hot showers are available nearby all the camping areas. It is a wonderful place to spend the afternoon and the night, with your family and friends.

Layland Museum came into existence in the early 1900s and it includes over 500 ethnographic items. Today, the Museum is a department of the city of Cleburne. It serves as steward of records and events, and it maintains archives documenting new constructions, improvements and loss of historic structure, new roadways and bridges - basically everything that pertains to the history of Cleburne. It is a wonderful place to learn about the past history of the City.
