Enterprise is a wonderful city located in Alabama, United States. Situated in Coffee and Dale Counties, Enterprise has a population of about 25,900 residents on an area of 31.0 square miles (80.3 square kilometers). Enterprise was founded in 1896 by John Henry Carmichael, who first settled in the area in 1881. One of the most shocking events that took place in the history of Enterprise dates back to 2007, when the beautiful city was hit by a tornado. Severe damage was produced to the city back then, this being considered one of the biggest disasters in the history of the Enterprise.
