Fond Du Lac is a beautiful city located in the Fond Du Lac County, Wisconsin, United States of America. The meaning of Fond Du Lac is bottom of the lake or foot of the lake and the reason the city received this name is that it is located near Lake Winnebago. In the area of the lake first lived the Winnebagos, Potawatomi, Kickapoo and Mascoutin tribes, but in the 19th century, Claude-Jean Allouez arrived here.
