Fredericksburg is located in the Gillespie County, in the State of Texas. As the county seat, Fredericksburg is the center city of the region, with a population of approximately 10,500 inhabitants. Fredericksburg was named after Prince Frederick of Prussia and was established in 1846. Fredericksburg is famous for its many historical sites and buildings, as well as for its leisure facilities.
