Festival of Flowers. Every year, in the month of June, Greenwood is the host of the Festival of Flowers. The Festival encompasses more than just your average flower festival. Festival of Discovery is organised immediately after the Festival of Flowers. Greenwood Community Theatre was born in 1954 and it was considered the State Theatre. Through the years, the theatre went through several name changes and at a certain point it even fell into disrepair. The Greenwood Theatre has now become a Children's Theatre that offers plays, musicals, workshops and summer camps.
The Emerald Triangle Museum in Greenwood houses more than 40.000 exhibits from across the Lakelands and around the world. Many of these objects are on permanent display. The Greenwood Museum also offers a regular change in exhibits from its permanent collection. The Museum spans on three floors and on more than 10.000 square feet of exhibit space.
