Driving tips in Indianapolis

If you're going to be in Indianapolis, you can find cheap car rental rates using VroomVroomVroom and find the best prices when you need to rent a car. Travelers will probably enter Indy via Indianapolis International Airport. As the largest airport in Indiana, it is a transportation hub for the entire state, as well as the gateway to the metropolitan area surrounding Indianapolis. This airport is serviced by 10 major U.S. and international airlines, and houses a gigantic FedEx operation (second only to the company's headquarters in Memphis).

At Indianapolis International Airport it's unnecessary to ride a shuttle to pick up your car rental. A short walk from terminal will get you to the Ground Transportation Center – with its eight rental car counters – on Level 1 of the parking garage.

The Indianapolis Museum of Art is a great place to visit once you've picked up your car rental. There's free admission and parking your rental car will only set you back five bucks. There are lots of special exhibits year-round and a theater called "The Toby" to enjoy! Creativity and education work together at this awesome museum -- and don't forget to take a photo of the amazing 60-foot Robert Irwin sculpture! But please be advised, the museum is closed to the public on Monday.
