1. Sadie Seymour Botanical Gardens: they are located in Kona. It is open daily and admission is free. Scott Seymour, renowned landscape architect, has designed this garden on a wedge-shaped plot. 2. Hulihe Palace: was the official place of residence for the royal family of Hawaii until the year 1914. It is located on the Ali Drive. Now the palace is a museum that is run by the Daughters of Hawaii. It showcases native Hawaiian artifacts and antique furniture. 3. Mokuaikaua Church: is another place to be visited in Hawaii. It is the first Christian church built in the Hawaiian islands and dates back to the year 1820. For more information on the Church click on the link.
4. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints: laid the 17th temple of the organization in Kona, Hawaii. It is the second church temple in Hawaii after the Laie Hawaii Temple.
5. The Pacific Fine Art Gallery: is easy to spot on the Kona Inn Shopping Village. Open from 9 am to 9 pm the gallery has a charm of its own and is a must see place to visit in Kona.
