The Lake Jackson Historical Museum has an area of more than 12,000 square foot. The museum displays the great history of the city and the interactive exhibits that can be seen here will surely help you understand more about the cultural life of Lake Jackson. Sea Center Texas is a spectacular marine aquarium located in Lake Jackson. The aquarium has opened in 1996 and it currently is free to all visitors to enjoy the features here linked to marine life. In fact, the Sea Center Texas is one of the most important tourist attractions in the whole state, being visited by over 1 million people every year. Alden B. Dow Office Museum was reopened after restoring the 1943 office. The building in which this museum currently is located actually is the first one to be constructed in the city. This is the place in which the first post office of Lake Jackson was created. In this spot you will be able to see various historical exhibits, mostly liked to the life of the city during the World War II.
