Macomb is a lovely township in the United States, located more exactly within the state of Michigan, in Macomb County, being also a part of Metro Detroit. The history of Macomb goes back to the early 19th century, when early founders arrived in the area. Since then, Macomb has known a huge development, especially during the period of 2000-2008, becoming the fastest growing major municipality in the state. According to the 2010 census, Macomb has a total population of 50,478 residents and spans on a total area of 36.3 square miles (94.0 sq km).
The Macomb Township Recreation Center is a wonderful recreational facility in Macomb where both children and adults will have a great time. The complex features 2 pools, water slides, a lazy river, and numerous other water features that everyone will enjoy. There is also an aerobics room, complete workout area and child watch room.
Macomb Corners Park is one of the main providers of family fun in the area. Features and amenities at the park include two soccer fields, two football fields, three lighted ball diamonds, an inline skating rink, and a children's playground where the little ones will have tons of fun. There are also picnic pavilions, restrooms, snacks, ice cream, candy, and numerous beverages.
Sycamore Hills Golf Club is one of the best golfing facilities in Macomb. The facility features 3 separate 9-hole regulation length golf courses that are played in 3 18-hole combinations that will please the heart of every player, regardless of his skills or training level. Amenities at the club include an exquisite restaurant where you will enjoy a satisfying, delicious meal.
