Oak Park is located in Illinois, United States. Actually a suburb of the beautiful city of Chicago, Oak Park is situated in Cook County. The suburb provides an easy access to the city. Oak Park has an area of 4.7 square miles (12 square kilometers) and a population of more than 51,800 residents, as the 2010 census indicated. Oak Park was first settled in 1837, becoming a suburb of Chicago in the 1850s. The village was formally established in 1902. Circle Theatre is the spot to visit for a great cultural night out. Numerous stage performances and shows are held in this location. Oak Park Festival Theatre was also founded in the city, back in 1975.

Winslow House is a lovely historic home located in Oak Park. The house was designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright, its walls being made of Roman brick. The house was built in 1893 and its architecture is really impressive. The Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio also is located within this city, dating back to 1889.
