Tiffin is a city and the county seat of Seneca County, Ohio United States of America. Eratus Bowe is the man that first came into the area. In 1817, he built the Pan Yan Tavern. Soon after him, other early settlers established here. In 1820, Josiah Hedges founded a village and named it Tiffin. The small settlement received the name of Edward Tiffin, the first governor of Ohio, the one who fought to win statehood for the territory. Tiffin was incorporated on March 7, 1835. In present times, Tiffin has an area of 6.6 square miles and a number of approximately 18,000 residents.
Tiffin Glass Museum is a museum that opened in honor of the former glass factory that functioned for about 100 years in the city.
