Cedar Hill State Park, located on Farm to Market 1382, has over 18 acres of park with over 350 sites to choose from. Most sites are located in tree shaded areas and all of the sites include electric, water, sewer, and big rig access. This motorhome campground does not provide internet, cable, or pull-thru sites. Cedar Hill State Park also features mountain biking, bird watching, picnicking, playgrounds, boating, a beach for swimming, and much more.
Loyd Park is located on Ragland Road in Grand Prairie, next to Joe Pool Lake. This RV campground provides over 790 acres of park with 221 sites to choose for setting up your motorhome hire. Enjoy tree-filled campsites that are right on the lake, as well as picnic tables, grills, fire rings, concrete pads, and much more. Loyd Park provides Wi-Fi at the park for many of the spaces. Electric hookups are at each site and the park also provides picnic areas, a swimming beach with a playground, a volleyball court, a softball field, trails, and more. They also have lakeside cabins available for rent.
Pecan Acres Mobile Home & RV Park, located on Pecan Acres in Midlothian, provides both permanent mobile home sites, as well as an RV park for temporary campervan rentals. Options for daily, weekly, and monthly stays are available. This RV park spans 12 acres total, with numerous tree-shaded sites. This RV park also provides electrical hookups and restrooms.
Dallas Hi Ho RV Park, located on West Bear Creek Road in Glenn Heights, provides several RV sites with some being shaded. Pull-though sites are also available. Every site includes electric hookup. This motorhome park features Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, and several nearby amenities like golfing, lake areas, and more.

Cedar Hill Museum of History, located on Cedar Street, provides exhibits, walking tours, an archival center, maps, genealogy resources, and much more on the history behind this interesting Texas town. Relieve yourself for an afternoon by leaving your motorhome behind, and discover the story behind a tornado that destroyed the entire town (except for two buildings)! Crawford's Tornado Graveyard, located near N. Cedar Hill Road, is as a graveyard to victims of the horrendous 1856 tornado. In 2006, the Texas Historical Commission designated the land as a historic Texas cemetery. Mr. Crawford, survivor and preacher/pastor, donated the land of 4 acres to church trustees, creating an open-to-the-public graveyard.
Burger Island, located on West Beltline, provides perhaps the biggest and best burgers you could ever imagine. This hot spot has become a desired destination in Cedar Hill for the Dallas-Fort Worth community, as well as for out-of-state tourists.
