Swallows Day Parade is an annual event of San Juan Capistrano. It celebrates the return of the swallows from Goya, Argentina to San Juan Capistrano, America. It is usually held on St. Joseph's Day, on March 19th, but the day may vary from year to year. In 2012, the event is scheduled for March 24th and the theme of the festival is "How the West was Fun". The event includes a parade, dance shows, live music and cook-outs.
Camino Real Playhouse is a community theater of San Juan Capistrano. It opened in the early 1990s and since then, on its stage were presented more than 150 theatrical productions. The theater is the event manager of a festival named Shakespeare Festival in which the plays of William Shakespeare are promoted.
